The train from Bucharest to Vienna goes through Hungary.
Budapest
From a train window, Budapest looked much more like Vienna, than Bucharest or Sofia. Clean streets - also because of the limited number of ads, pleasing architecture, bike infrastructure, 30 km/h side streets, regulated car parking (no cars on footpaths), greenery.

| Bikes on the left, ORLEN petrol station on the right, tram tracks in the middle of a tree lined street. |

| Bike lanes |

| Unusual window shapes. Graffiti. |
 |
| 30 km/h streets. |
 |
| BYD lists on its website 3 locations in Europe: The Netherlands, The UK and Hungary. |
 |
| Graffiti. |
 |
| I think that rusty roof was the worst industrial decay I saw from the train window in Hungary. |
