Wrocław (Vro-tz-wa-av) - a beautiful city in south-west Poland, where Intel will build a semiconductor assembly and test plant. Where I met the most relaxed and friendly people in Poland. People in Warsaw are often in a hurry and brash. People in Wrocław are the opposite.
Wrocław, population 674k, is the 3rd most populous city in Poland, after Warsaw and Cracow.
Wrocław has 84 km of tram tracks (system length) and 408 stops.

A courier van parked in the car lane, NOT in the bike lane. 100% Wrocław spirit. |

This street leads to the train station - you can see it at the end. It should be a leafy pedestrian boulevard, not a car sewer. |
This is the essence of Wrocław for me: grand houses around the square and two small medieval houses joined by an archway stuck in the corner with a background of St Elizabeth Church. |
Cars ruin cities. |
The designer of the top floor of these houses committed a crime. |
Bikes - good, graffiti - bad. |
This narrow street can be found in the Market Square. |
Bikes, tram tracks, bike path, opera. |
