A half-day trip to
Glass House Mountains in the hinterland of Sunshine Coast, about 2 hours from Gold Coast by car. The 11 peaks are the remnants of volcanoes from 26 million years ago. Unlike the Gold Coast hinterland, the area around the peaks is almost flat.

As you can see the spelling of the park name is not consistent. This sign has "Glasshouse Mountains", but the official park website has "Glass House Mountains".
